Kerala State IT Mission `Saankethika', Vrindavan Gardens, Pattom Palace P.O., Thiruvananthapuram-695 004, Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, an autonomous nodal IT implementation agency for Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of Kerala, has invited applications for engaging Interns for the Digital Kerala Internship Programme.

Details of the positions and the number of positions are as follows:

  • Software Development Intern - 10 nos (Anticipated)
  • Cyber Security Intern - 5 Nos
  • Content Creation Intern - 2 Nos (Anticipated)

All internships are of 6 months’ duration and carry a Stipend of Rs. 15000/- per month (Consolidated). Age Limit is 25 years as on the date of notification (23.10.2025). Year of Graduation / Post-Graduation must not exceed two years from the date of notification (Year of passing should be 2025 or 2024). Experience is not required for any position.

Eligibility for the different positions is as follows:

(a) Software Development Intern - B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication, or MCA, or M.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology

(b) Cyber Security Intern: Graduation/PG with Specialisation in Information Security/Cyber Security/Cyber Forensics from reputed organisations/Universities or B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science/IT/ECE or MCA/BSc/MSc. Applicant must have completed at least 3 months of an approved course in Cyber Security

(c) Content Creation Intern: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Journalism or Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mass Communication or Bachelor’s degree in English with a minimum 6 months’ certificate course in Social Media / Marketing. Applicant must have knowledge in writing articles/documents and content in English and Malayalam; Strong editing, designing, and proof-reading skills; Familiarity with content development, Content Creation, Content Design, Social media handling, Digital marketing, and digital AI tools, SEO, etc.

The selection process will be conducted through KSITM. Original documents in proof of prescribed educational qualification, certification, experience and age, etc., shall be produced at the time of interview or at any time as required.

Applicants shall produce any one photo-affixed ID Proof among Voter Identity Card issued by the Election Commission of India, Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar Card in original along with a self-attested photocopy at the time of Examination/Interview.
