The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2026 between the last week of April and mid-May, with results likely to be released around 1 pm, based on previous years’ trends.
Once declared, students can check their results on official websites, including results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in, and cbse.gov.in.
To access their scores, students will need to enter their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth, as mentioned on their CBSE Admit Card 2026.
Apart from websites, CBSE will also provide multiple ways to access results, including SMS, IVRS, DigiLocker, and the UMANG app, ensuring smoother access during high traffic.
The CBSE Class 12 exams began on February 17, 2026, while the Class 10 exams were conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026.

For Class 10 and Class 12:
- Visit results.cbse.nic.in
- Click on the ‘Results’ tab
- Select your respective class result link
- Enter roll number, school number, admit card ID, and DOB

CBSE result 2026: Passing marks
To pass the CBSE Class 10 board exams, students must secure:
- At least 33% marks in each subject
- Minimum 27 marks in theory papers
- At least 7 out of 20 in internal assessment/practicals
- A similar 33% overall passing criterion applies to Class 12 students as well.
