Sindhu Central University, Ladakh, UT of Ladakh, has invited applications for admission to full-time, 2-year, postgraduate programmes for 2025-26.

Programmes are as follows: (a) Master of Technology (MTech.) - Atmospheric & Climate Science (b) Master of Technology (MTech.) - Energy Technology & Policy (c) Master of Arts (MA) – Public Policy (d) Master of Arts (MA) - Buddhist Studies 

The first year of the programme of study will be at IIT Madras for programmes (a) and (c) and at IIT Kanpur campus for programme (b). Classes for all semesters of programme (d) will be held at SCU Transit campus. Village Khaltsi, District Leh, Ladakh. 

Eligibility for admission to each programme is as follows:

(a) MTech (Atmospheric and Climate Science): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Technology in Materials, Chemical, Energy, Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentations or other branches of Engineering or similar discipline or MSc/MS in Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Science(s), Atmospheric Science(s) or equivalent subject with a minimum of 55% in aggregate/5.5 or above CGPA on a scale of 10. Students in the final year are also eligible to apply.

(b) MTech (Energy Technology and Policy): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Technology, Mechanical, Aerospace, Production, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentations, Materials, Chemical, and Energy or equivalent subject or M.Sc./M.S. in Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent subject with a minimum of 55% in aggregate/5.5 or above CGPA on a scale of 10. Students in the final year are eligible to apply.

(c) MA (Public Policy): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA). The candidate should have Mathematics as one of the subjects at the level of class XII.

(d) MA (Buddhist Studies): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA).
