SCTIMST invites applications for July 2026 session across PhD, MTech, MPH and diploma programmes.

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, an Institution of National Importance, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, has notified the admissions for Academic Session, July 2026.
Applications are invited for admission to the following academic programs of the institute: (i) PhD in Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences / Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biomaterial Science and Technology, Medical Sciences and Health Sciences. Only JRF holders of UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/DHR-BRET or holders of MPhil degree offered by SCTIMST need to apply (ii) Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) - after DM/MCh/DNB (iii) Postdoctoral Certificate Course in Hospital Infection Control (PDCC in Hospital Infection Control) (iv) Integrated PhD (MD-PhD, DM/MCh-PhD) - only MD/DM/MCh residents of SCTIMST are eligible to apply (v) M.Tech Biomedical Engineering (vi) Master of Public Health (MPH) (vii) Diploma in Public Health (DPH), Diploma in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology (DOTAT) (viii) P.G. Diploma in Cardiac Laboratory Technology (PGDCLT), P.G. Diploma in Clinical Perfusion (PGDCP), P.G. Diploma in Transfusion Technology (PGDTT) (ix) Advanced Certificate Programs in Physiotherapy (ACP).

Applications can be submitted online at https://www.sctimst.ac.in/ (Academic > Admissions links), latest by 31.03.2026. The application fee can be paid online.
Entrance examination (computer-based test) for MPH, M.Tech, PDCC, all PG. Diploma, Diploma and ACP will be held at Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi.
Reservations will be followed as per the Govt. of India policy.
