National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited applications for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE-2025) for admission to the B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) Course recognised by JNU at the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM&CT) for the Academic Year 2025-26.

List of Affiliated Institutes of Hotel Management offering B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) Programme and intake in each for 2025 is given in Annexure-II of the Information Bulletin of NCHM JEE 2025 at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM/  

The Three-Year (Six Semester) course equips students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. As per NEP 2020, there may be an option of 4th year for the students to get an Honour’s Degree. The program involves in-depth laboratory work for students to acquire required knowledge and skill standards in the operational areas of Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, and Rooms Division. It also provides managerial inputs in Hospitality marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Revenue Management, Facility Planning Management, etc. 

Admission to the Course is through the NCHM JEE to be held from 11 am to 2 pm on on April 27, 2025 (Sunday). The Score of NCHM JEE is accepted by all the affiliated Institutes for admission to the B.Sc. (HHA) Course in their respective Institutes. 

NCHM JEE -2025 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) having 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from (i) Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude (30 questions) (ii) Reasoning and Logical Deduction (30) (iii) General Knowledge & Current Affairs (30) (iv) English Language (60) and (v) Aptitude for Service Sector (50). The medium of Question Paper will be English & Hindi only. Each question carries 4 marks. For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score. 

Eligibility: Applicant should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects, from a recognised Educational Board. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination. The list of examinations equivalent to 10+2 is given in the Information Bulletin. 

Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2025 on a provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by September 30, 2025. 

Age Limit: There is no age restriction for appearing in NCHM JEE. 

Physical Fitness: All qualified candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate of carrying out practical claims as required in course at the time of admission from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed format.

Reservations in admission will be as per the Government of India rules. 

The application is to be submitted online at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM/, latest, by 5 pm on February 15, 2025. Application fee is Rs. 1,000/- (Gen-EWS: Rs. 700/-, SC / ST / PwD/ Third Gender: Rs. 450/-). Application fee can be paid up to 11.50 pm on February 15, 2025 through Credit Card / Debit Card (except Master/Visa Card)/Net-Banking/UPI/Wallet. 

Test Centres: The City of Examination Centres where the Exam shall be conducted are given at Annexure-VII of the Information Bulletin. Applicants must select four cities of their choice while filling Online Application Form for NCHM JEE 2025. 

Correction in the Particulars of Application can be done online during February 17, 2025 to February 20, 2025.  

Announcement related to Display of Recorded Responses and Provisional Answer Keys on the Website for inviting challenge(s) from Interested candidates, declaration of Result on NTA at Website etc; will be notified through website at appropriate time. 

Candidates will get the facility to download their Score Cards from https://exams.nta.ac.in/NCHM/ only.

After the declaration of the Result, the NCHM JEE-2025 Score will be provided by NTA to NCHMCT to conduct the Counselling for the admission to the B.Sc. (HHA) Course.
