Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI), a part of the interdisciplinary Biotech Science Cluster at Faridabad and an organization with a mission to conduct innovative translational research across disciplines and professions to accelerate the development of concepts into products to improve human health, has invited applications for admission to a two-year (4 semesters), Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Clinical Research (Specialisation in Clinical Trials) for the academic session 2025-27.

The specific objectives of the program are to provide (i) knowledge required to design and conduct a clinical trial, (ii) skills to evaluate, monitor, and implement a clinical trial, and (iii) ability to analyze and present clinical trial data.

The M.Sc. degree will be awarded by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad.

Eligibility: Applicant should hold any one of the following: (i) Bachelor’s degree in Allopathic Medicine (MBBS); (ii) Bachelor’s degree in other fields of Medicine/Dentistry/Nursing/Veterinary Science (BHMS/BAMS/BDS/BSc Nursing/BVSc); (iii) Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Life Sciences/Statistics/Public Health (B Pharm/BSc/ B Tech) from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Those awaiting their graduation results can also apply. They will be considered subject to submission of their graduation result (mark list and at least the provisional degree certificate) on the day of the interview.

There are 15 seats for the program. Reservation of seats will be as per the rules.

Selection: Admission will be a two-step process, which includes a written test followed by an interview.

To be eligible for the interview, the candidate must score a minimum of the 60th percentile in the written test and also obtain at least 40% marks in the written test.

Candidates must score 60% or above in the interview to be considered for the final selection.

A relaxation of 5% for OBC and 10% for SC/ST may be applied to the above criteria, if required

The final score for admission will be a combination of the scores from the written test and the interview.

The written test and interview will be held at BRIC-THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad- Gurugram Express Highway, Faridabad, Haryana.

All instructions pertaining to the syllabus, date, time, venue, etc., will be conveyed separately to the candidate shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria prior to the written test.

Application fee for General, OBC & EWS candidates is Rs 590/- (inclusive of 18% GST), which may be paid using a Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / UPI.

SC/ST/Women/PwBD applicants are exempted from payment of application fees.

Candidates may keep a printout of the online submitted application form for future reference. They must visit the website regularly till the completion of the admission process.

The list of shortlisted candidates will be declared on August 20, 2025. The written test/interview will be on September 01/02, 2025, or September 04/05, 2025. The course will commence on September 29, 2025.

Tuition fee is Rs. 25,000 per semester (Rs. 18750/- for OBC/EWS, Rs. 12500/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates). In addition, University fees of Rs. 5000/- per semester, and examination fees of Rs. 1000/- per semester will also have to be paid.

Those students who wish to avail of hostel facilities will have to pay Rs. 45000/- per semester. A fee waiver will be admissible to students from economically weaker sections as per the Institution's guidelines

Facilities available are given in the Notification. There is also the possibility of continuing with Ph.D. subject to the fulfilment of the THSTI Ph.D. policy.
