Sreenarayanaguru Open University (SGOU), Kollam (University Building Kureepuzha, Kollam, Kerala-691601) has invited applications for admission to various UGC-DEB recognised Programmes under Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode for the 2026 February session of the academic year 2025-26.

Programmes and eligibility are as follows

3 Year UG Programme (6 Semesters): Bachelor of Arts (Arabic): A Pass in the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by a board/university at a +2 level of schooling (either through formal schooling or through open system or its equivalent) and recognised by the State of Kerala.

4 Year UG (FYUGP) (8 Semesters) with exit option on successful completion of 3 years: (i) Bachelor of Arts (English) (Honours) (ii) Bachelor of Arts (History) (Honours) (iii) Bachelor of Arts (Malayalam) (Honours) (iv) Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) (Honours) (v) Bachelor of Business Administration(BBA) (Honours) (vi) Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) (Honours): A Pass in the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by a board/university at a +2 level of schooling (either through formal schooling or through open system or its equivalent) and recognised by the State of Kerala.

2 Year PG (4 Semesters): (i) Master of Arts (English) (ii) Master of Arts (History) (iii) Master of Arts (Malayalam) (iv) Master of Arts (Sociology) (v) Master of Commerce (MCom): Any valid degree from a recognized university/institution.

Learners can pursue UG/PG programmes of SGOU along with other regular programmes of other Universities/Institutions under the UGC-approved dual degree system.

As per UGC directive, all aspiring learners shall create their ABC-id and DEB-id prior to the admission.
