Institute of Mental Health and Hospital (IMHH), Agra, Old Mathura Road, Agra, Uttar Pradesh – 282002; has invited applications for admission to the 2 year, regular, full time M.Phil Clinical Psychology Program for session 2023-2024. 

The course is affiliated to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra and approved by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi. 

Eligibility: Applicant should hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology from a UGC recognized University with not less than 55% marks in the aggregate (50% marks for SC/ST/OBC category).

There are 10 seats for the Program. Reservation will be as per the rules of Government of U.P. Hostel accommodation will be provided to the students subject to availability. The candidate shall have to pay hostel accommodation and other charges as prescribed by IMHH. 

Selection: Selection will be based on a written examination of 90 minutes’ duration to be held at 11 am on 27th March 2024. The examination will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). There is no negative marking. The final result will be based on the score obtained in the written test. Tie in scores will be resolved by giving higher rank to the candidate who scored highest percentage marks in Masters of Psychology. If tie continues, a person senior in age would be given priority.

Fees: Yearly Fee is Rs. 1,50,000/- to be paid each year at the commencement of the course. One Time Caution Money will be Rs. 5,000/- which is Refundable. Hostel Fee is Rs. 10,000/-  per year for candidates opting hostel accommodation. 

Stipend:  A monthly stipend as per IMHH Agra rules will be paid to the admitted candidates for a maximum period of two years. The in-service candidates shall have an option to choose between stipend or salary if offered by the employer and should intimate the option to the Director IMHH accordingly.

Application Fee is Rs. 1,500/- (Rs. 750/- for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates of U.P), to be deposited along with application loan through net banking/ online banking as per the Account details given in the Prospectus. 

Employees of State Governments/ Central Governments/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodied Government Funded Organizations should submit their application through the employer or competent authority and submit a No objection certificate along with a declaration whether the candidate would be paid salary during the period of training.
