Department of Psychiatry, Govt. Medical College & Hospitals Chandigarh has invited applications for admission to M.Phil (Cynical Psychology) & M.Phil (Psychiatric Social Work) Courses session 2021.  

Eligibility for the Programmes is as follows:

M.Phil (Clinical Psychology): Applicant should have Masters in Psychology with special paper in Clinical Psychology; securing 55% marks (50% for SC). Those with MA/M.Sc by correspondence course or by distance education are not eligible. Duration of the course is 2 years

M.Phil Psychiatric Social Work: Applicant should have a Masters in Social Work with 55% marks (50% for SC). Duration of the course is two years.

Those who have appeared in the final year examination of the qualifying course can also apply to the respective Programs.

Selection: Selection to the Programmes will be based on Entrance Examinations. Details are available in the Prospectus that can be downloaded from http://gmch.gov.in/dpn-mphil-2021-2022.

Application: Applications can be submitted online at this link latest by 5 pm on 28.2.2022. The detailed Prospectus is also available here.

Application fee of Rs 500/- (General Category) / Rs 250/- (SC Category) can be paid online.

Entrance Examination will be on 12.3.2022.

Stipend: Those selected to the M.Phil Programmes will be paid a monthly Stipend of Rs.12000/-
