Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the schedule of activities related to the allotments for 2024.

JoSAA 2024 has been set up by the Ministry of Education to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to the Undergraduate/First Degree Programs in 121 institutes that includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs), for the academic year 2024-25. 

Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made by JoSAA through a single platform.

Admissions for IITs will be regulated based on the Rank in JEE Advanced 2024 and admissions in respect of NITs, IIITs, IIEST Shibpur and CFTIs will be based on the rank in JEE Main 2024.

JEE (Advanced) 2024 result is expected to be announced at 10 am on 9 June 2024 (Sunday) 

Candidate registration, prepayment of the JoSAA seat acceptance fee and choice filling for academic programs under JoSAA starts at 17:00 hrs on 10 June 2024 (Monday). 

Those candidates who qualify for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) can fill in their AAT-specific choices, starting from June 14, 2024, after the declaration of the AAT result.

Mock Seat Allocation-1 based on the choices filled- in by candidates as at 20:00 IST on June 14, 2024 (Saturday), will be announced at 14:00 hrs on 15 June 2024. 

Mock Seat Allocation-2 based on the choices filled- in by candidates as at 17:00 IST on June 16, 2024 will be displayed at 12:30 on 17 June 2024 (Monday). Candidates can lock their Choices from this time point. 

Candidate registration and choice filling for academic programs under JoSAA 2024 ends at 17:00 hrs on 18 June 2024 (Tuesday). If choices are not locked by the candidate by this time point, the system will lock the choices.

Seat allocation for Round 1 will be announced at 10:00 hrs on 20 June 2024 (Thursday).

Online reporting with fee payment/document upload etc., can be done during 20 June 2024 (Thursday) to 24 June 2024 (Monday). Candidates should respond to queries (if required) related to round 1 by 17:00 hrs on June 25, 2024. 

Fee payment for round 1 has to be completed by 17:00 hrs on 24 June 2024 (Monday).

Resolution of fee payment issues for candidates who have made payment attempts has to be done before the payment deadline of 17:00 hrs on 25 June 2024 (Tuesday).

Candidates have to respond to the query (Round 1) by 17:00 hrs on 26 June 2024 (Wednesday).

Seat allocation for round 2 will be announced at 17:00 hrs on 27 June 2024 (Thursday).
