
Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Department of Space, Government of India, declared as Deemed to be University, Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram Kerala 695 547, has invited applications for Project Positions.
The following are the Project positions available along with the number of positions and eligibility for each.
(i) Senior Project Fellow (5) - (a) B.E/B.Tech in ECE/Avionics or M.Tech/ME in areas related to Electronics and Communications (1 position) (b) B.E/B.Tech in ECE / Avionics / DD Engineering Physics / MSc Physics / Electronics (2) (c) B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or ME / MTech in related areas (2)
(ii) Senior Project Fellow (2)- M.Sc in Physics/ Material Science/ Electronics or M.Tech in Optoelectronics/ Material Science/ Nanotechnology or MS in Physics/ Solid State Physics/ Material Science/ Nanoscience (02)
(iii) Junior Research Fellow (1) - M.Sc in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics or MS in Mathematics or equivalent (1)
(iv) Project Associate-I (1): B.Tech in Electronics or Instrumentation or Electrical (1)
(v) Research Assistant (2) (a) Post Graduate in Economics/Sociology/Social Work/Political Science/Public Administration/Geography/English Literature with 60% marks or more (1) (b) M.Sc. Chemistry and related areas (1)
(vi) Junior Project Fellow- MSc Chemistry or related areas (1)
Additional eligibility requirements, Desired Experience, Preferable experience/exposure etc; Monthly Remuneration and other details related to each position, are given in the detailed Notification at https://www.iist.ac.in/spotlight
The tenure of the posts are 12 months.
Candidates have an option to register for PhD at IIST during next admission cycle if PhD qualification requirements are met by the candidate. (Only for PG qualified candidates)
Application can be submitted online through the link https://www.iist.ac.in/spotlight up to 2359 hrs on 5.9.2024. Candidates have to upload the relevant certificate such as mark sheet, Degree/PG Certificate, Experience certificate etc. at the time of registering the online application. ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned is required in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies.
Only short listed candidates will be called for written test/interview as the case may be.
