Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur, Basantpur, Sambalpur, Odisha, has invited applications for admission to the 1st Batch of two Bachelor Degree Programmes, commencing in September 2025.

The Programs offered are (i) Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and (ii) Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management and Public Policy.

Both are Full-time Residential Programs, of 4 years (8 semesters) duration with flexible entry-exit options after successful completion specific years as follows: After one year- Certificate, after 2 years- Diploma, after 3 years - B.S. Degree, after 4 years - B.S. (Hons.).

Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence aims to develop core competencies in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with applications across various management disciplines; Cultivate analytical thinking to transform raw data into predictive insights for business, scientific or societal applications. The Program has Intensive lab sessions, coding bootcamps, and case study-based teaching. Students get Real-world exposure through live projects, internships, and industry collaborations. The Program has an Industry-focused curriculum co-designed with leading tech firms and Al practitioners.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management and Public Policy Program has a Multidisciplinary curriculum with a focus on management sustainability and public policy. The 170-credit curriculum focus on capstone project and research upskilling in the final year with dissertation. Personalized skill development is offered through workshops on critical thinking, design, simulations, and personal branding. Students get Real-world exposure through engagement with NGOs corporates, and government bodies.

For admission to both Programs, applicant must have either passed their Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in the year 2024 or 2025 or must be currently appearing for Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination with results expected by June 2025. Applicant must have scored a minimum of 70% in both Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination and passed English language examination in both Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations.

For admission to Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence applicant must have a valid JEE (Mains) 2025 score. The final merit list will be prepared based on the JEE (Main) 2025 Score.

For admission to Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management a Public Policy Program, applicant must have a valid Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 score in General Aptitude and English subject (mandatory for all applicants). The final merit list will be prepared based on the CUET (UG) 2025 score of General Aptitude and English subjects.

Age limit: The upper age limit is 21 years as on July 31, 2025. Relaxation in marks, age and reservation of seats to Reserved Category will be as per government norms, as per the norms of the Government of India.

Application can be submitted online at www.iimsambalpur.ac.in latest by July 20 for B.S in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and by July 30, 2025 for B.S. in Management and Public Policy.

Application Fee is Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PwD Category/OBC-NCL /EWS). The amount can be paid online.

Selection list will be published by First Week of August, 2025 for B.S in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and on August 18, 2025 for B.S. in Management and Public Policy.

Programs Commences in September 2025.
