
The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), a Deemed-to-be University under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, has announced admissions for its Integrated Bachelor's-Master's Program and Master’s/Integrated Master’s-Ph.D. Program in Science for 2025.
Programs and Structure
IACS offers interdisciplinary programs in various fields, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, and Materials Science.
- The Bachelor's-Master's Program includes three semesters of foundational courses, after which students specialise in a major.
- The Master’s/Integrated Ph.D. Program is designed for graduates in science and engineering seeking research-focused education.
Eligibility and selection
Integrated Bachelor's-Master’s Program
- Eligibility: 10+2 in Science with Mathematics as a mandatory subject and a minimum of 60% marks (relaxation for reserved categories).
- Selection: Based on the UG Pre-Interview Screening Test (UPST) on 7th June 2025, followed by an interview.
Master’s/Integrated Ph.D. Program
- Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering with 60% marks (relaxation for reserved categories).
- Selection: Master’s Pre-Interview Screening Test (MPST) on 7th June 2025, followed by an interview.
Financial support and exit options
- Stipends available for eligible students in advanced years.
- Exit options after 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year with recognised certifications.

- Application Fee: ₹1,200 (₹600 for SC/ST/PD).
- Portal Opens: Last week of March 2025.
