Delhi Technological University (DTU) (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Shahbad Daulatpur, Bawana Road, Delhi-42, has invited applications for admission to the Ph.D. program in August 2025.

DTU is a non-affiliating teaching and research university at Delhi engaged in education, research, technology, incubation, product innovation and extension work in applied sciences, engineering and technology, management, and allied areas.

The university has invited applications for admissions in Ph.D. program(s) under different disciplines of science, engineering & technology, management & humanities for the session August 2025 in the following categories: (a) Full-Time Ph.D. student with DTU Fellowship (b) Full-Time Ph.D. student with a valid fellowship from other sponsoring agencies (UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR/ADF/0IP etc.) (c) Full-Time Ph.D. student without Fellowship (d) Full-Time Sponsored Ph.D. student (e) Part Time Ph.D. student (f) Ph.D. Program for Industry/Working Professionals

PhD is offered in different departments in the subjects of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Engineering Physics, Mathematics, Mathematics and Computing, Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Design, Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, English, Economics and in (i) University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (Management; Economics; Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development) (ii) Centre of Excellence for Electrical Vehicle and Related Technologies (iii) Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness (iv) Multidisciplinary Centre for Geoinformatics (v) Vinod Dham Centre of Excellence for Semiconductors and Microelectronics and (vi) Nodal Centre of Excellence in Energy Transition

Admissions are made on the basis of entrance tests and interviews to be conducted by the university. However, the entrance test shall be waived for UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR-NET/DBT/ICMR/IARI-JRF full-time fellowship holders, qualified students in GATE/CEED/NET and similar national-level tests conducted by equivalent regulatory bodies, all foreign national students including those sponsored by ICCR/MHRD/ MEA, and covered under MoU with DTU, and industry working professionals.
