Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has invited applications for the Computer Based Entrance Examination for Admission to (i) Integrated Five Year LLB Course and (ii) 3 Year LL.B. Course 2025-26, in the four Government Law Colleges in Kerala at Trivandrum, Ernakulum, Thrissur and Kozhikode and in the Private Self-Financing Law Colleges in Kerala having seat sharing agreement with the State Government.

General Eligibility: (i) Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen. However only those who are of Kerala origin are eligible for any type of reservation or any fee concession.

Academic Qualifications: (i) Integrated Five Year LLB Course: Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or any other examination recognised by the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto with minimum of 45% marks (42% for SEBC and 40% for SC/ST). No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted

Those with 3-year Diploma/Polytechnic Course, after 10th Standard, issued by an Institution recognized by the Government, those who have obtained +2 Higher Secondary pass certificate or first degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence are also eligible for admission. Those who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post-graduation through open school system/ universities directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission.

Age: Applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.25. The upper age limit will be subject to the final order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

(ii) Three year LL.B.: Applicant should be a graduate in any faculty of any University in Kerala or any other Universities recognized by the particular University in Kerala to which the college that the candidate desires to get admitted is affiliated, as equivalent there to with minimum of 45% marks (42% for SEBC and 40% for SC/ST) No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted.

Age: There is no lower age limit for admission to Three year LLB course. The upper age limit for admission to the Three year LLB Course will be subject to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

For both Programs, those who are appearing/ appeared for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Such candidates become eligible for admission only if they produce the Pass Certificate and Mark List of the qualifying examination at the time of admission.

Entrance Examination: The Computer Based Entrance Examination for both Programs will be held on 25.05.2025 (Sunday) across all districts in Kerala. Detailed time schedule in this regard will be notified later.

Both the Entrance Examination will be of two hours’ duration and will consist of 120 objective type questions of three marks each [Total: 120 x 3= 360] from General English, General Knowledge, Arithmetic & Mental ability and Aptitude for Legal Studies. For every wrong answer one mark each will be deducted.

Qualifying Standards in Entrance Examination: To qualify and thereby figure in the rank list for admission to the respective courses, General/SEBC category candidate should get a minimum of 10% of total marks 36 marks) in the Entrance Examination. Those belonging to SC/ST category should get a minimum of 5% of total marks (18 marks) in the Entrance Examination.

Application can be submitted online at www.cee.kerala.gov.in latest by 5 pm on 14.05.2025.

Application Fee is Rs. 900/- for General and SEBC candidates and Rs. 450/- for SC/ST candidates. The amount has to be paid online payment using Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.

Those who have applied online and have remitted the fee successfully should upload documents to prove Nationality, Date of birth, recent passport size colour photograph, signature, communal reservation, special reservation, EWS, Income for fee concession within the above mentioned date. There is no need to send the printout of the application to the Office of the CEE.
