Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, has commenced the activities related to the First round Stray Vacancy Allotment to fill up the vacant seats that exist/arise after the vacant seat allotment for admission to LLM Course in the Government Law Colleges and Private Self-financing Law Colleges for the year 2025-26 at www.cee.kerala.gov.in
Based on the conditions stipulated, those who have figured in the rank list of LLM Course 2025 published by the CEE and satisfy the eligibility criteria as per clause 9 in the Prospectus can register fresh options and participate in this phase of allotment.
Those who have already been admitted and those who have been allotted in vacant seat allotment will not be eligible to participate in this phase and subsequent phases of allotment.
Candidates already admitted but who obtained their Transfer Certificate (T.C.) after 2 pm on December 22, 2025, are ineligible to participate in this phase and any subsequent allotment phases.
Registration Fees: Candidates who wish to register options in the stray vacancy seat allotment will have to pay separate registration fees of Rs. 2000/- online to the CEE. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OEC category are eligible for benefits as per G.O (Ms) No. 25/2005/SCSTDD, dated: 20.06.2005 and G.O (Ms) No.10/2014/ BCDD, dated: 23.05.2014 and those candidates from Juvenile Home, Nirbhaya Home, Sreechithra Home will have to remit Rs 500/- as Registration Fee.
Exceptions in payment of registration fees: Candidates who paid the registration fee in previous allotment phases but do not hold an active admission as of 2 pm on December 22, 2025, the deadline for free exit, are exempted from further payment. Those who have already paid registration fees in the vacant seat allotment round but do not have any allotment in the vacant seat allotment are exempt from further payment.
The registration fee of those candidates who do not get allotment will be refunded. If a candidate gets allotment and does not join within the stipulated time, the option registration fee will be considered as a penalty and will not be refunded. The registration fee of the candidates who quit the seats after taking admission will be considered a penalty and will not be refunded. Refund of the option registration fee for the eligible candidates will be made only after the completion of the allotment process, and it will be notified.
Probable vacancies due to category conversions will also be filled in the stray vacancy allotment based on the options in this stray vacancy allotment. Hence, candidates must take into account probable vacancies also.
Options for the First round stray vacancy allotment can be registered till 3 pm on 30.12.2025. The Allotment and Institution Joining Schedule will be notified later.
Candidates who get allotment in this phase have to join the allotted college with all the original certificates as given in the prospectus clause 19 within the stipulated time to be announced by the CEE and should remit applicable tuition fee, other fees and the deposits (if applicable) in the allotted colleges at the time of admission.
The seats received through the stray vacancy allotment cannot be changed further. Candidates who are allotted a seat in the stray vacancy allotment, irrespective of the admission status, will not be eligible for any subsequent allotments.
After the stray vacancy allotment, if vacancies exist/arise, these vacancies shall be filled through the second round Stray Vacancy Allotment. For this round, options registered by candidates during this round, the Stray Vacancy Allotment will not be considered.
Allotment shall be subject to the final order/affiliation/approval of the Govt/University concerned. Vacancies remaining after the vacant seat allotment have been published at www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
