According to Capcom’s revised sales outlook shared in a recent press statement, the latest entry in the long-running survival horror series achieved more than six million units sold within just over two weeks of release. This marks the fastest sales pace for any Resident Evil title to date.

The company said it plans to maintain momentum through continued support, including regular updates and new content aimed at extending the game’s lifecycle and player engagement.

Capcom has also confirmed that a story-based downloadable expansion is in the works for Requiem. Alongside this, players can expect a series of updates, fresh content drops, and the addition of a long-awaited photo mode. However, the release timeline for the expansion has not yet been disclosed.
