Microsoft introduced its new lineup of PCs named ‘Copilot + PCs.’ The lineup was announced at their new campus ahead of the Microsoft Build Conference. 

Microsoft claims the Copilot + PCs are the quickest and most intelligent Windows PCs ever created. Copilot+ PCs will let the user do things that no other PC can do, thanks to their potent new AI processors, which can perform an astounding 40+ TOPS (trillion operations per second).

The users get a system with all-day battery life that provides them access to the most cutting-edge AI models. 

Microsoft will introduce two models, namely, Surface Pro and Surface Laptop. With its revised, contemporary design, dazzling touchscreen display, AI-enhanced camera, excellent audio, and now a haptic touchpad. The laptops are priced at $999 (roughly Rs. 83,000)

Recall-
Recall makes it simple to locate and recall what the users have seen on their computers. To locate the content they require in the timeline across any programme, website, document, or more, the user can scroll across time.

From the icon in the System Tray on your Taskbar, the user can stop at any time, modify and remove time intervals in Settings, and remove specific snapshots. Apps and webpages can also be filtered, so they are never saved. 

Cocreator- 
With Cocreator create and edit AI images on the fly. Enhance your ink strokes with text prompts that will bring your ideas to life. The creative slider allows users to select from a variety of artwork, ranging from literal to artistic. 

Restyle Image allows users to combine picture production and photo editing in Photos to envision their personal photos in a fresh way. Copilot + PCs will also have Adobe’s flagship programs like Photoshop, Lightroom and Express. 

Live captions-
Live Captions can help translate audio from more than 40 languages into English. Users can also translate the pre-recorded audio into English subtitles even when working offline. 

With its live translation feature, Live Captions can now convert any audio that travels through the user's PC into a single, consistently English-language caption experience that appears on the screen in real time across all programs. 

Enhanced Windows Studio Effects- 
With Quick Settings' readily available options at their fingertips, users may immediately look and sound their best. When in low light, portrait light automatically changes the image to brighten the foreground pixels or increase perceived lighting in gloomy environments. 

An artistic touch is added with three new creative filters (illustrated, animated, or watercolour). Users can read on a screen while maintaining eye contact with the aid of an eye contact teleprompter. To guarantee that the user is constantly in focus, voice focus and portrait blur has been improved.  

Copilot- 
Last but not least, Microsoft’s Copilot. Users can now tap the Copilot key and easily access Microsoft’s powerful AI agent.

Users will get access to the most recent models in the upcoming weeks, including OpenAI's GPT-4o, to enhance their experience and—above all—enjoy more natural-sounding voice interactions. 

Microsoft also claimed their new PCs outscored Apple's MacBook Air 15" by up to 58% in terms of sustained multithreaded performance, while also providing all-day battery life. They also claim that their PCs can provide up to 22 hours of local movie playing or 15 hours of web surfing on a single charge, which is 20% longer than the MacBook Air 15.
