Reliance Jio introduces gaming-focused prepaid plans with free JioGames Cloud, starting at just ₹48

To strengthen its presence in India's fast-growing cloud gaming sector, Reliance Jio has unveiled five new prepaid plans that come bundled with complimentary access to JioGames Cloud, the company’s own cloud gaming platform. The initiative is designed to make premium, console-level gaming accessible across a range of devices, without the need for high-end equipment.
JioGames Cloud enables gamers to stream and play top-tier games directly on smartphones, PCs, and Jio Set-Top Boxes. Since the games are streamed, there’s no requirement for downloading or owning high-performance hardware. The standard cost of a 28-day Pro Pass on the platform is ₹398, but these new prepaid plans provide the same benefit at no extra cost — though the offer is currently limited to prepaid users. Postpaid and broadband customers are not eligible at this time.
Details of Jio’s gaming plans
- The ₹48 plan caters to casual users wanting a short-term gaming experience. It includes 10MB of data and three-day access to JioGames Cloud, with a three-day validity.
- For those looking for a slightly extended trial, the ₹98 plan provides seven-day access to JioGames Cloud and 10MB of data. This is a data-only voucher and requires an active base prepaid plan to function.
- The ₹298 plan offers 28 days of JioGames Cloud access and 3GB of data (in a single lump sum). Like the ₹98 option, this too is a data voucher and works only with an existing prepaid plan.
- The ₹495 plan targets more regular users. It includes 1.5GB of daily data, 5GB of bonus data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day — all valid for 28 days. It also gives users access to JioGames Cloud, JioCinema (featuring Disney+ Hotstar Mobile), FanCode for 28 days, JioTV, and JioAICloud.
- At the top tier is the ₹545 plan, which includes everything in the ₹495 plan, but increases the daily data allowance to 2GB. It also provides unlimited 5G data for eligible users, offering a robust solution for both gaming and streaming enthusiasts.
With these new offerings, Reliance Jio is aiming to lower the entry barrier to cloud gaming in India by eliminating the need for costly hardware or software. All five prepaid plans are now available via official Jio platforms.
