Just days before Apple’s September 9 event, an alleged hands-on video has added to the growing iPhone 18 Pro leaks, with Dark Cherry, Black and Sky Blue tipped as the three colours for the new Pro models. The colour details remain unconfirmed until Apple officially unveils the phones.

Apple is just days away from unveiling its next-generation iPhone lineup, and a fresh leak has reportedly revealed the colours planned for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

An alleged hands-on video showing apparent iPhone 18 Pro series demo units has surfaced online ahead of Apple's September 9 event. The latest leak points to a Dark Cherry shade alongside Black and Sky Blue.

Dark Cherry is expected to be the standout colour of the new Pro range. It has also been described in some reports as a Burgundy or deep red finish. However, colour reports are not completely consistent, with other leaks suggesting that Apple could offer Silver instead of Black. The final lineup will only be confirmed when Apple announces the phones.

Dark Cherry could be the big new colour

The Dark Cherry finish is emerging as the most talked-about colour ahead of the launch. If the latest leak is accurate, it would give the iPhone 18 Pro range a noticeably different look from the previous generation.

Sky Blue is another colour expected to join the lineup, while Black has also been tipped in recent reports. Some earlier leaks, however, pointed towards Silver, making the exact three-colour combination one of the details Apple is expected to settle on at the event.

iPhone 18 Pro launch is just days away

Apple's September event is scheduled for September 9 at 10am Pacific Time. The company is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, alongside its first foldable iPhone, which is widely rumoured to be called the iPhone Ultra.

The iPhone 18 Pro models are expected to retain a design similar to the current generation rather than receive a major external redesign. Rumours point to a smaller Dynamic Island, Apple's next-generation A20 Pro chip and a C2 modem.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max could also receive a larger battery and a variable-aperture main camera, although some of these details remain unconfirmed.

Apple’s first foldable iPhone could steal the spotlight

The colour leak comes as attention builds around Apple's expected entry into the foldable smartphone market.

The first foldable iPhone is rumoured to use a book-style design, with a roughly 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch inner screen. Reports suggest it could be around 4.5mm thick when unfolded and may use Touch ID instead of Face ID because of space constraints.

The foldable model is also expected to carry a premium price, with reports suggesting a starting price of around $2,000 or more.

New era for Apple

The September 9 event will also mark a major leadership moment for Apple. John Ternus is expected to lead his first major iPhone launch as CEO after taking over from Tim Cook, who has moved into the role of executive chairman.

With a new iPhone Pro generation, a possible foldable iPhone and a new CEO leading the keynote, this year's Apple event is expected to be one of the company's most significant product launches in years.

For now, the Dark Cherry, Black and Sky Blue colours remain leaks rather than confirmed Apple specifications. The official colours and features will be revealed at the September 9 event.

The Dark Cherry colour is currently the strongest recurring leak, but there is still disagreement over whether the third colour will be Black or Silver. That makes “colours leaked” safer than “colours confirmed” until Apple's event.
