Washington: Brazil's hero Neymar is set to return to action in the team's upcoming match against Scotland on June 25, head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed. The forward is expected to be included in the starting lineup after taking part in training sessions with the squad.

Neymar missed Brazil's opening two matches against Morocco and Haiti due to injury. The team played out a draw against Morocco before securing a victory over Haiti. Neymar's return is expected to provide a significant boost to the team's attacking strength ahead of the crucial fixture against Scotland.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti said Neymar will be engaged in an individual training session on Saturday before rejoining the squad on Monday. He also added that the forward is fully fit for the team's upcoming clash against Scotland.

Brazil currently sit atop Group C with four points from two matches. Although Morocco also has four points, Brazil lead the standings on goal difference. Scotland is third in the group with three points from two games. A victory over Scotland on June 25 would secure Brazil's place in the knockout stage and strengthen their bid to finish as group winners.
