According to local reports, Yamal realised the document was gone after the match and even returned to the locker room to search for it.

It was a night of highs and lows for Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal. The youngster impressed in Spain’s crushing 6-0 victory over Turkey in a World Cup qualifier on Sunday, only to later discover his passport was missing.
According to local reports, Yamal realised the document was gone after the match and even returned to the locker room to search for it. Despite checking his belongings and retracing his steps, the passport could not be found. Footage shared by journalist Emir of Beyaz Futbol showed the youngster stepping off the team bus and rifling through his bag before leaving the stadium empty-handed.
However, Spanish media later reports indicated that the youth had managed to resolve the issue and would leave the country with the national side. The video of the incident quickly spread on social media, sparking a flurry of comments from fans.
On the pitch, Spain were dominant. Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino hit a hat-trick, while Pedri González scored twice and Ferran Torres added the sixth as Luis de la Fuente’s team took charge of Group E. It was their second win in four days, following a 3-0 victory over Bulgaria on Thursday.
De la Fuente, who guided Spain to the Euro 2024 title, had promised his side had “an even higher level to reach.”
