Despite his exam form being submitted, admit card issued, and exam centre assigned, constant travel for training camps and tournaments made the youngster’s preparation unfeasible.

India’s 14-year-old cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi will not be appearing for his CBSE Class 10 board exams this year due to his demanding cricket schedule. The young prodigy, who has impressed globally with his performances in the Under-19 World Cup, including a record-breaking 175-run innings in the final against England, has opted out after discussions between his school, Modesty School Tajpur, and his father, Sanjeev Suryavanshi. Despite his exam form being submitted, admit card issued, and exam centre assigned, constant travel for training camps and tournaments made preparation unfeasible.
Vaibhav has already achieved numerous milestones, hitting 30 sixes in the U19 World Cup, scoring a List-A century as the youngest player, and becoming the youngest IPL centurion. While his exceptional talent has drawn worldwide attention, ICC rules prevent him from playing for India’s senior team until he turns 15. Till then his exploits will be limited to franchise and domestic cricket. (With inputs from Agencies)
