The BJP and the Congress are leading in one Lok Sabha seat each in Goa at 10 am, as per early trends of vote counting underway on Tuesday for the two constituencies in the coastal state.

BJP's candidate from Mandi, actor Kangana Ranaut, is leading, while Union minister Anurag Thakur, seeking a fifth term from the Hamirpur seat, is also leading, per the poll panel's data.

The BJP is ahead in 19 seats, and Congress in seven as per initial counting trends in 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka on Tuesday at 10.45 am, according to Election Commission officials.

The BJP and the Congress are leading in 22 seats each in Maharashtra, as per the latest trends of counting underway for 48 constituencies in the state at 11:45 am.

Out of the 39 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu, the DMK and allies have so far sustained their lead position in 36 seats. The main opposition party, AIADMK is leading in four seats.
