Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala BJP leadership has credited its party chief, K. Surendran, for the party's substantial progress in the state during the Lok Sabha elections. The official Facebook page, 'BJP Keralam', posted a message praising Surendran's efforts and attributing the success to his leadership.

The post highlighted Surendran's pivotal role in securing Suresh Gopi's impressive victory in the Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency, marking BJP's best performance in Kerala to date.

It noted Surendran's effective coordination with party workers during the campaign. "He led the party from the front, countering continuous efforts by the Congress-Communist alliance to demoralise and defeat BJP in Kerala. His leadership inspired and instilled hope for success among everyone involved," the post read.

Additionally, it emphasised that Surendran's excellent leadership as state president will be an asset to the party in the upcoming assembly elections.
