Thiruvananthapuram: P. Reghunath, the vice president of the BJP's state branch, has launched a veiled attack on his party counterpart Sobha Surendran his Sobha Surendran.
In a Facebook post, Reghunath asserted that there were no brokers involved in the recruitment of other leaders into the Bharatiya Janata Party.
"It's hard to believe those (brokers). Such associations are not dignified for public servants," Reghunath noted in his post.
This development occurs amid the spotlight on Sobha's meeting with LDF convener EP Jayarajan. Reports suggest that the controversial broker Nandakumar facilitated the encounter.
Earlier, Sobha revealed that she had attempted to arrange more than three meetings with EP Jayarajan to persuade him to join the party under the guidance of national leaders.
