Ernakulam: In a historic triumph, Hibi Eden is set to win in the Ernakulam Lok Sabha seat with the largest majority ever recorded in the constituency's history. Eden's opponent, LDF's K J Shine, trails significantly, with fewer votes than Eden's lead alone. As of 2:45 pm, Eden commands a formidable lead of 2,47,245 votes, with a total of 4,76,270 votes, while Shine's tally stands at 2,29,025. NDA's K S Radhakrishnan is in third place with a total of 1,43,045 votes.

This victory marks a significant milestone for Eden, surpassing his own record set in 2019 when he secured a majority of 1,69,153 votes, previously the largest in Ernakulam's electoral history. With this landslide win, Eden has rewritten the record books once again, solidifying his position as a dominant force in Ernakulam politics.

During the 2019 elections, LDF candidate P Rajeev secured 3,22,110 votes, while Eden garnered an impressive 4,91,263 votes.
