A trove of more than 1,000 Amazon email receipts belonging to disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been released by the US Department of Justice, offering a detailed and disturbing look into his online shopping habits over a five-year span. The records, first reported by The New York Post, reveal purchases ranging from children’s clothing and baby toys to surveillance gear, sexual devices and books tied to some of his known interests and associations.

The receipts, dated between 2014 and 2019, document deliveries made to Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse, his West Palm Beach residence and his private island, Little Saint James.

Orders included child-sized clothing and costumes

Among the more troubling entries are Epstein’s purchases of girls’ school uniforms. The documents show he ordered four regulation outfits from Cherokee, shipped to his Upper East Side property on East 71st Street. The items included full-body dresses, girls’ twill shorts and a pleated skirt by Tommy Hilfiger.

The records also reflect Epstein’s apparent fascination with costumes and uniforms. In August 2018, he bought a novelty prisoner outfit—less than a year before his arrest on federal sex-trafficking charges. Other costume-related orders included an FBI outfit, Israel Defence Forces combat trousers and a variety of sauna hats. Receipts also show purchases of formalwear, including a tuxedo and accessories.

Intimate products and sexual devices

Multiple items categorised as sexual wellness products appear throughout the receipts. In 2018, Epstein ordered a Sonic prostate massager marketed for “home use prostate health.” In April 2017, he purchased Vagifirm, an herbal vaginal-tightening supplement advertised as improving lubrication, enhancing libido and increasing firmness.

Baby toys, books and sweets

The shopping history also shows Epstein ordering baby clothes and toddler toys, including blocks, stacking toys and rattles, again delivered to his New York home.

His receipts further reveal a pattern of ordering processed snacks over several years. Items included Twinkies, Ring Dings, Devil Dogs, chocolate bars, coffee cakes, candy and assorted cookies.

Surveillance gear and health-related purchases

Epstein made repeated purchases of surveillance equipment, including at least nine pairs of binoculars delivered to his various properties. Several were high-powered or military-style models, some priced above $200.

The records also point to potential health issues. In July 2014, Epstein bought a CPAP machine and accessories commonly used for sleep-related breathing disorders. He additionally ordered a range of supplements marketed for memory, gut health and cognitive function, such as phosphatidylserine, magnesium threonate and prebiotic powders.

Book orders reflect disturbing themes

Epstein’s reading list appears in the receipts as well. His most frequently purchased title was ‘Filthy Rich: The Jeffrey Epstein Story’, of which he ordered five copies. He also bought multiple biographies of filmmaker Woody Allen, a neighbour and individual long linked to Epstein’s social circle.

Other books point to a wide span of interests, including titles on Swiss banking secrecy, immortality, Hitler, Western tantra and several works by Vladimir Nabokov—among them ‘Lolita’.

In 2019, Epstein was found unresponsive in his Manhattan detention cell, with authorities later determining it was a suicide.
