Seoul: Emmanuel Macron arrived in South Korea on Thursday, following a visit to Japan where he lauded Europe’s “predictability” in an apparent critique of former US President Donald Trump amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
During his two-day South Korea trip, President Macron is scheduled to meet with Lee Jae Myung for a bilateral summit. His itinerary also includes a visit to a Korean War memorial to honour French soldiers who served during the conflict, underscoring France’s historical ties and diplomatic presence in the region.
