Malayalam actor Mammootty paid a visit to the Sharjah Royal Palace to offer his personal condolences to Deputy Ruler Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi following the demise of his brother.

Sharjah: Actor Mammootty paid a visit to the Sharjah Royal Palace to express his condolences following the passing of Sheikh Mohammad bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the brother of the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi.
During his visit, Mammootty spent approximately 20 minutes at the palace. He met personally with Deputy Ruler Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, offering his sympathies to the family in their time of bereavement. Sheikh Mohammad bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi passed away last Friday, leading to the declaration of a three-day official mourning period in the emirate.
The veteran actor had arrived in the UAE to participate in a stage show hosted in Sharjah.
While at the palace, Mammootty also met with Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office, alongside Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Salem Al Qasimi and Sheikh Faisal bin Khalid Al Qasimi. Producer Anto Joseph and V T Saleem accompanied the actor during the visit.
