On January 26, 2026,occasion of Republic Day, both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) are not operational, with trading suspended across all segments, including equities, equity derivatives, currency derivatives, and interest rate derivatives.
Commodity markets, including the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), are also closed for the full day. Normal trading will resume on Tuesday, January 27.
