New Delhi: Gold prices rose in India on Sunday, with 24K gold priced at ₹1,08,015.80 per 10 grams, and 22K at ₹99,014.48 per 10 grams, according to Groww. Silver prices remained stable at ₹1,16,200 per kg, as per Goodreturns reports.
Additionally, 18 karat gold (also called 999 gold) at ₹75,270 per 10 grams.
Market rates across major cities
In New Delhi, 24 karat gold stood at ₹1,08,015.80 per 10 grams, while Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Hyderabad recorded a rate of ₹1,05,567.20. Pune recorded the lowest rate at ₹1,02,457.10 per 10 grams.
22 karat gold stood at ₹99,014.48 in Delhi, and ₹96,769.93 across Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Hyderabad. Pune recorded a rate of ₹93,919.01 per 10 grams.
The overall price movement remains modest, with prices falling since August 9 as per Goodreturns data, but with the festive season approaching and international market factors at play, further fluctuations are likely in the days ahead.
Silver rates
Across major cities, Chennai and Hyderabad marked the highest price for silver at ₹1,26,200 per kg, while Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Pune saw silver priced at ₹1,16,200 per kg, according to data published by Goodreturns.
