Akasa Air has rolled out yet another customer-friendly initiative, the ‘Lock Your Fare’ feature. This new option allows travelers to secure their chosen ticket price for a limited period and confirm the booking later, giving passengers greater flexibility and peace of mind.

The service is available exclusively on the Akasa Air website and mobile app for a nominal fee. For domestic routes, customers can lock fares up to 7 days before departure and hold them for as long as 15 days, while for international routes, fares can be locked up to 15 days before departure and held for 7 days.

With this, passengers no longer need to worry about fare hikes while planning holidays, business trips, or group travel. They can freeze the fare when it’s best and complete the payment later, making travel planning both smarter and more relaxed.
