Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Minister for Cooperation and Registration V N Vasavan has informed the Assembly that a biometric scan will replace the traditional inked thumb impression during the registration of the asset documents. He added that the registration certificate would carry the photo of the digital thumb impression.
Vasavan also informed that the cooperative societies in the state are not offering any moratorium at present. However, the confiscation proceedings are suspended till December 31, he said.
