Kalpetta: Wayanad cyber police arrested five Punjab natives for allegedly cheating Keralites by offering visa to Canada. The cyber police arrested the five-member gang in an adventurous mission from the India-Pakistan border Attari.

The accused are identified as Punjab natives Rajaneesh (35), Charanjeet Kumar (38), Inderpreet Singh (34) and Kapil Garg (26).

They were arrested for swindling Rs 15 lakh from a Meenangadi native by offering job in Canada. The police reported that the gang were involved in similar crimes.

A native of Kottayam also filed a complaint against the gang.
