Kochi: A three-member gang has been arrested in a visa fraud case. The arrestees were identified as Divikshith (31), his wife Denna (26) and another individual named Rijun (28). While the men hailed from Kannur, the woman was a native of Kothamangalam in Ernakulam district. The Palarivattom police recorded their arrest. They have been sent to remand.

The accused were running companies called ‘Dreamer Passionate’ and ‘Flying Future’ in Chakkaraparambu. 

The fraudsters deceived their victims by offering them work visas and high salaries in foreign countries including Poland, New Zealand, Portugal and Armenia. People never received their visas, a few others were reportedly cheated with the promise of visiting visas as well.

Over 100 people have assumedly fallen prey to the vicious tactics of the individuals. They allegedly resorted  to advertisements by film stars on social media to lure people.
