Kochi: During the phase II of Vande Bharat, the evacuation mission of Indians stranded abroad amid coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, 19 flights will arrive at the Cochin International Airport. Apart from gulf countries, flights are scheduled from US, Australia and different parts of Europe.

According to Air India bookings, the second phase is from May 16 to June 3. Air India and Air India Express flights will be bringing back Indians stranded in foreign countries. Air India Express will conduct 9 services from May 16 to May 23 while Air India will conduct 10 services from May 19 to June 3 to Kochi.

The first flight in the second phase to Kochi is an Air India Express from Dubai on May 16.

Flights will be conducting services from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha and Kuala Lumpur directly to Kochi. Other flights from San Francisco, Melbourne, Paris, Rome, Dublin, Armenia, Ukraine and Manila will have stops in other Indian cities apart from Kochi.   

(Though aircrafts flying out of India is marked in the schedule, no passengers will be allowed on board)
