Thiruvananthapuram: Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that the arrest of the CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan's son indicates the decay of CPM which claims to be the party of the poor.

Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has never done any job in his life. He worked only as a party worker. So, he is supposed to reveal the source of huge wealth made by his sons, Muraleedharan said in a Facebook post.

When the ordinary party workers took part in protests, suffered torture and collected fund to help the party grow, the children of party leaders are accumulating wealth taking advantage from it, Muraleedharan alleged in the post.
