Dubai: As many as 160 passengers were left stranded at the airport after a Thiruvananthapuram-bound Air India Express flight from Dubai was delayed by hours. 

The flight, Air-India Express IX 544, has been scheduled to leave Dubai International Airport at 8:45 p.m. (GST) and arrive in Thiruvananthapuram at 2:45 a.m. on Sunday. 

However, due to the delay, passengers, including 50 women and around 20 children, are stranded at the airport. According to the passengers, Air India officials have yet to reveal specifics regarding the delay in the flight's departure.
