Thrissur: The National Highway Authority of India has again hiked the rates at Paliekara toll plaza, effective September 1. This decision comes even as recommendations from the NHAI’s safety audit report remain unimplemented.
Under the new notification, the toll rates for cars, jeeps, and small commercial vehicles for one-way travel will remain unchanged. However, there will be an increase of Rs 5 to Rs 10 for multiple trips made within a single day. These revised rates are scheduled to take effect on Friday.
