Palakkad: Shaj Kiran, who appeared before the judicial first class magistrate court for recording a confidential statement, said that he had given complete details on gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh's recent revelations before the judge. He is one of the witnesses in the conspiracy case registered against Swapna Suresh. 

Shaj Kiran accompanied by his friend Ibrahim, arrived at Palakkad first class magistrate court-3 on Wednesday to record his confidential statement. Ibrahim had already given a confidential statement in a case registered by Kasaba Police. 

He told the media that he would release the digital evidence to prove that Swapna raised false allegations against the Chief Minister and others over the gold smuggling case.

"I am cooperating with Enforcement Directorate(ED) with the investigation. Additionally, the data lost from the phone was successfully retrieved. Now, it will become clear where the conspiracy took place in the case," he said. 

"The petition filed by Swapna in the court is misleading. It is not true that I introduced Sivasankar to her. Neither I held any meeting nor have any connection with ADGP Vijay Sakhare. I only have acquaintance with journalist Ajith Kumar," he added.
