Ernakulam: In a major relief for customers ahead of the Vishu festival in Kerala, Supplyco has announced a reduction in the prices of subsidised commodities. Items such as toor dal, red chilli, chickpeas, urad dal, and cowpeas will now be available at lower prices at Supplyco outlets from Friday onwards, with reductions ranging from ₹4 to ₹10 per kilogram.

- Chickpeas (1 kg) – ₹65 (Market Price: ₹110.29)
- Green gram / Cherupayar (1 kg) – ₹90 (Market Price: ₹126.50)
- Urad dal (1 kg) – ₹90 (Market Price: ₹132.14)
- Cowpeas (1 kg) – ₹75 (Market Price: ₹109.64)
- Toor dal (1 kg) – ₹105 (Market Price: ₹139.50)
- Red chilli (500 g) – ₹57.75 (Market Price: ₹92.86)
- Coriander (500 g) – ₹40.95 (Market Price: ₹59.54)
- Sugar (1 kg) – ₹34.65 (Market Price: ₹45.64)
- Coconut oil (1 liter pack: 500 ml subsidized + 500 ml non-subsidized) – ₹240.45 (Market Price: ₹289.77)
- Jaya rice (1 kg) – ₹33 (Market Price: ₹47.42)
- Kuruva rice (1 kg) – ₹33 (Market Price: ₹46.33)
- Matta rice (1 kg) – ₹33 (Market Price: ₹51.57)
