
Mallappally: Joint RTO M G Manoj of Mallappally Sub Regional Transport Office informed that the education of Manju's son will be taken up by the employees. Mathrubhumi brought to light Manju's story where she was forced to take shelter in a train with her family due to the nuisance created by certain people at the Tsunami flat in Eravipuram, Kollam. The High Court had intervened in the matter after noticing the news in ‘Mathrubumi’.
Kerala Women's Commission member Shahida Kamal visited the family and shifted them to the Gandhi Bhavan in Pathanapuram. The elder daughter’s education was taken up by Kozhikode Farook College. Joint RTO also informed that mobile phone and other necessary arrangements to facilitate online classes will be delivered to Gandhi Bhavan in Pathanapuram where the family is staying.
