Pathanamthitta: The Kottarakkara Court on Monday directed KB Ganesh Kumar MLA to appear in person before the court on October 18 in connection with the case over an alleged conspiracy to implicate late Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the solar scam-linked sexual harassment case. The court also decided to issue summons to the complainant of the sexual harassment case.
Earlier, the report submitted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the solar case had placed Ganesh Kumar in a tough spot. As per CBI findings, the complainant had initially written a 21-page letter, while staying in Pathanamthitta, and later added four additional pages. The move was part of a plot to implicate Chandy, the report said.
According to the CBI, Chandy's name was later added to this letter, and Ganesh Kumar confiscated the same document with the assistance of a witness. Ganesh Kumar is the second accused in the case, and the complainant is the first accused.
