Kochi: Bollywood singer Nikita Gandhi, whose concert turned tragic in Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) where a stampede led to the death of 4 young students, has expressed shock about the incident.
The singer posted on Instagram of how she was heartbroken and devastated by the events in Kochi. She expressed her grief and sent prayers for those affected and their families. The stampede occurred before Nikita's concert began and the singer mentioned this in her post by saying that she did not even leave for the venue when she heard of the tragedy.
The concert was organised as part of a tech fest ‘Dhishna’ under the aegis of the School of Engineering Sciences. Over 60 others are said to have sustained injuries in the stampede.
