Thiruvananthapuram: Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice Dr R. Bindu said that Rs 5000 each was credited to the accounts of differently-abled students in the state as a New Year gift.
The government has sanctioned Rs 36.55 lakh as a proficiency fund to 731 students.
The cash award is given to those students who secured top marks in the SSLC, Plus two (state /CBSE/ ICSE) examinations. More information about the award is available at www.hpwc.kerala.gov.in website.
