Kozhikode:  ReLIS-the web platform of revenue department of the state is non-operational since two weeks. The users, who depend upon the platform for day-to-day services including tax payment, is in exasperation as website continues to remain under maintenance.

It is learnt that transferring of land related data to a new server to reduce the workload of the existing server has ended up in the outage of the e-platform.

Services like mutation of property, renewal of revenue record of a property and revenue recovery too are interrupted. The issue with the platform has impaired the process related to PM Kisan Yojana for farmers in the state. Similarly, the dues, interest on late payments and loans based on tax receipts mount and trouble the users as the website is down.

The platform is non-operational because of the changes brought to the website without proper planning. IT Mission earlier intimated the revenue department that the transfer of data to new server will only take 2 days. Later it said that the platform will be fully operational by Sunday. But things did not go according to the assurances.
