Thiruvananthapuram: Online services in panchayats across Kerala will be suspended from April 1 to 10. The temporary halt is to facilitate the complete migration of services from the ILGMS (Integrated Local Governance Management System) portal to the K-SMART platform.
As part of this transition, applications for birth and death certificates, marriage certificates, shop licences and other services will not be accepted from April 1 to 5. However, these applications can be submitted via K-SMART from April 11 onwards.
Since the transition will impact lakhs of people, training sessions for Akshaya centre operators have begun at Collectorates from Sunday, with training conducted at the block level.
