Thriuvananthapuram: With the Kerala local body polls approaching, former Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar officially assumed office as the BJP's state president on Monday. A formal announcement of Chandrasekhar's election as BJP state president was made following the party's state council meeting on Monday.

Ahead of taking charge, Chandrasekhar shared a quote from social-reformer Sree Narayana Guru in X, emphasising success and progress.
