Kozhikode: Congress MP K Muraleedharan has stated that Rahul Gandhi is likely to contest once again from Wayanad in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The veteran Congress leader said that “In Lok Sabha polls 2024, all current Congress MPs except K Sudhakaran are likely to contest from sitting seats.”
K Sudhakaran, who is also the KPCC president, has reportedly informed the central leadership of his unavailability for contesting in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Muraleedharan noted that party workers in the state are confident of putting up a dominant show in the upcoming elections. He vowed to fight against BJP and CPM in the state with the same vigour.
The prominent Congress leader also condemned the acts of Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan.
In his speech, Muraleedharan also blasted PM Modi for using Ayodhya temple as a political tool.
